After flirting with 10% of the Internet market, the Apple Macintosh fell back slightly according to the latest numbers released by Net Applications (Good luck trying to get to it, it seems to be Slashdotted as I type this. But it will work if you try long enough). The Mac fell from 9.93% in January to 9.71% in February. Windows picked up some steam by gaining a few points to settle in at 89.37% in February from 88.26% in January.
From a statistics standpoint, it’s not a big change. But I’m sure that Microsoft and Apple PR droids people will slice and dice these numbers to make whatever bullshit story they have prepared appear to be valid.
