Microsoft Attacks Apple Again Via Another Laptop Ad
The dudes from Redmond are at it again with a brand new ad that takes shots at Apple. “Giampaolo” (as I assume he’s an actor and not a real person just like “Lauren” in the last Microsoft ad) is given a budget of $1500 with which to find to a laptop with his desired features of portability, battery life, and power. Here’s the ad:
Note the comment about Apple in the ad:
This is so sexy, but Macs to me are about aesthetics more than they are the computing power. I don’t want to pay for the brand. I want to pay for the computer.
Ouch!
The other thing I notice about these ads is that there’s a lot of promotion of HP, but not a lot of Microsoft software in it. Last time I checked, Microsoft sold software so what’s the deal with that?
In any case, Microsoft is taking no prisoners with this ad campaign. I wonder how long Apple will take to respond.
