If you are looking for an Apple notebook, today is your lucky day. This morning Apple released a bunch of new MacBook Pros to the world. They’re apparently available now as they seem to have ship times of 2 to 4 days. You can take a look at the link above for the full details, but I’ll hit the highlights:

• Intel Core I5 and I7 Processors
• New high def graphics processors including the Nvidia GT330M/512MB
• Up to 10 hours of battery life
• An option for a 512GB Solid State Hard drive, if you’ve got a pile of cash burning a hole in your pocket.
• Options for glossy and matte screens for 15″ and 17″ models along with a high def screen option at 1680×1050 resolution for the 15″
• Apple claims to have an option for HDMI output, but I can’t find any evidence of it.

On the surface it sounds good and I am sort of tempted to replace my mid-2009 MacBook Pro for one of these. But I’d pretty much get my a** handed to me by my wife if I did. So I’ll pass…. For now.
