When I got home tonight, my wife handed me a card in a very nice envelope. It was another card from Bell Canada. I guess that the first one wasn’t enough so they sent us another one with among other things, the following:
“If your expectations are not being met by your current service provider for any reason, please call us.”
and
“I speak for the whole team at Bell when I say we’d love to have you back and hope you’ll give us the chance to earn your business once again”
The card was signed by Steve Bickely who is the Senior V.P. of Residential Services.
If Bell Canada cared this much while we were customers, provided us with decent customer service, priced their service in line with their competition, perhaps we’d still be Bell Canada customers. Oh well. Our current provider meets our expectations just fine and Bell won’t get the chance to earn our business back anytime soon.
I wonder how long Bell will continue doing this and what’s next on their list. Telephone calls perhaps? I hope to God not.
