Rogers Launches New Community Forums…. Hmmm….

Late yesterday, “my best friends at Rogers” let me know that they’ve opened what they call “Community Forums” that will allow Rogers customers to get assistance with their Rogers products and services. You can find the forum at http://communityforums.rogers.com.

I have to admit that I’m of two minds on this one. On one hand Rogers has given customers one more avenue to get assistance with their Rogers products, and that is a good thing. On the other hand, they’ve now given customers a place to rant/complain/whine about them which could create situations of bad optics for Rogers. Plus there’s always the possibility that Rogers could engage in some “Apple Like” behavior by zapping anything that they don’t like. Hopefully that doesn’t happen. I don’t expect it to, but it is within the realm of possibility.

I guess we’ll see how this plays out, but you have to give Rogers points for making attempts to enhance their customer service. That alone deserves praise in Rogers direction.
