Another day another e-mail from “best friends at Rogers”:
You may have seen Samsung’s press release announcing the Canadian launch timing for the Samsung Galaxy Tab, a 7-inch Android tablet. Just wanted to let you know that Rogers will be carrying the device in the coming months.
While we do not have any details on pricing or availability just yet, we did publish a short post on RedBoard with a few more details. Check it out here.
I’m not sure if Apple needs to be fearful just yet, but on paper this tablet sounds interesting. One thing that does give me cause to pause is the fact that Rogers will be “carrying the device in the coming months.” Not having a definitive time frame makes people forget about the device, which lessens the impact that it can have on the market. That’s likely not Rogers fault, but it doesn’t help them.
