I get the sense that Rogers is starting to focus on business customers. First came Live Agent which makes it easier for SMB customers to deal with Rogers. Now comes a business version of RedBoard called RedBoard Biz. It makes sense as business customers are more revenue generating than consumers and tend to be less likely to switch providers as long as they feel that they’re getting value for their money. Besides, I suspect that Rogers would love to push their consumers to their Fido and Chatr brands and make the Rogers brand more distinct than Bell and Telus by being business focused. In any case, I think that this is a good move on Rogers part and I think it will pay off for them.
