The writing is clearly on the wall as the execs at RIM are clearly looking for other places to work. Today’s example is Brian Wallace, the Vice President of digital marketing and media. Well, he’s now heading for Samsung who quite frankly are on a roll:
Brian Wallace RIM’s, after nearly 11 years with Research in Motion, is jumping off what appears a sinking ship and defecting to Samsung Mobile. At Samsung Mr. Wallace will be VP-strategic marketing for the U.S.
The thing is, he wasn’t the first to go:
Mr. Wallace’s departure was not far behind that of chief marketer Keith Pardy, who resigned in March. Mr.Pardy left just weeks before the launch of RIM’s iPad competitor, Playbook. Co-CEO Jim Balsillie then took on the chief marketing officers role.
The big question is who’s going to be next to jump ship?
