The Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 is a tablet that I’ve talked about previously, but up until now you haven’t be able to get one in Canada. Telus today changed that by making it available for sale. Besides the features that I spoke of when I first wrote about this tablet, it also brings these additional features to the table that I didn’t touch upon:
- S Pen – the perfect tool for taking notes on calls or writing shopping lists; personalizing emails; creating works of art or just doodling.
- Air View – use your S Pen to help you preview content without actually opening it.
- Peel Smart Remote – manage your TV, cable, satellite, DVD player, Blu-ray, etc. while on-the-go thanks to this universal remote that is compatible with any TV.
- AllShare Play – share your favorite videos, photos and music across your connected devices while viewing your content from anywhere .This tablet is also highly-portable – thanks to its compact size – but most importantly, its ability to access TELUS’ 4G LTE network.
TELUS customers can get their hands on the new Note 8.0 by taking advantage of TELUS’ new Easy Tablet program. The Easy Tablet program allows customers to buy a tablet for a lower up-front cost – all they have to do is pay off the difference in equal monthly payments on their bill over a one or two-year term, completely interest free. For example, you can get the new Note 8 at TELUS for $99 up-front + $20/month over two years, or $339 up-front + $20/month for one year. If that doesn’t appeal to you, you can score this tablet for $579.
