I got a note from Telus announcing that they have started to sell the iPad Mini with Retina display online and in store today. More info and pricing on the various models available at Telus can be found here. Also of note is the Easy Tablet program where customers can buy a tablet for a lower up-front cost and all they have to do is pay off the difference in equal monthly payments on their bill over a one or two-year term. So if you take a 16GB version, you can get it for $69 on a two year term. The same tablet with no term is $549. So that makes jumping into a tablet less painful.
