Canadians who wanted to pre-order an iPhone 6 or 6 Plus today got a bit of a shock. If you go to Apple.ca, pick the iPhone that you want and clicked on a link about delivery, this is what you get (click to enlarge):

You don’t have to be a geography major to figure out the following is wrong:
- Ottawa is roughly where Toronto should be.
- Toronto is in the wrong location.
- Edmonton is north west of Calgary. It’s actually north east of Calgary.
- Quebec should be Quebec City.
While this likely won’t deter Apple Fanbois in Canada from buying the iPhone, it’s pretty embarrassing given than Apple has had some spectacular mapping fails over the last few years.
