I got a couple of e-mails over the weekend asking what if anything I noticed with iOS 8.0.2. I’ve noticed three things thus far:
- My iPhone is crash prone. It doesn’t happen often (in fact it’s happened twice) but I’ve noted that my iPhone 5s is way more crash prone than it used to be. A quick Google search indicates that others are having various degrees of stability problems. Thus I am not alone. Seeing as one crash was while using Twitter and another was while using Mail, I am guessing that Apple needs to do some work to bring more stability to iOS 8.
- My iPhone feels just a bit faster than it did under iOS 8.0. I thought this was my imagination until i discovered via a Google search that other people have noted the same thing.
- My WiFi problems that I first reported with iOS 8.0 are not fixed.
- I am noticing that I am now getting LTE in places where the phone would drop to 3G because of signal strength (or lack of it).
Have you noticed anything else with iOS 8.0.2? Please share your observations by posting a comment below.
