That didn’t take long.
Apple has apparently patched the lock screen bug that I wrote about this morning by patching Siri to make the exploit not possible. This came to light via The Washington Post. At the same time, Apple also fixed a bug where it was possible to use Siri to enable both Night Shift and Low Power Mode. This proves that it is possible for Apple to fix iOS without actually fixing iOS itself.
Kudos to Apple for fixing this so quickly. However, this bug should not have ever seen the light of day in the first place.
