Apple Extends USB-C Dongle Discounts To March 2017
If you’re one of the many who were living the dongle life because of the fact that the new MacBook Pros came with USB-C, and that required you to buy a couple of hundred dollars of dongles, good news for you. You might recall that Apple discounted the price of those dongles heavily due to the fact that consumers were not happy about living the dongle life. That was only supposed to last until the end of the year. It now appears that this has been extended until March 31, 2017. This seems to be connected to the availability of LG’s UltraFine 5K Display, which is 2-4 weeks at this time, and the fact that it’s price has been extended to March 31, 2017. All of this will make living the dongle life cheaper. That’s something I guess.
