Achieving gender equality is a shared responsibility for communities, companies and global economies. In celebration of International Women’s Day 2019, OpenText CEO and CTO Mark Barrenechea has written a blog, reaffirming OpenText’s commitment to programs such as its signing of the Catalyst Accord and its membership in the 30% Club Canada. OpenText also sponsors yearly hour of code initiatives for youth at its global offices and is working toward the implementation of a mentorship program to support the career growth of its highest performers.
OpenText is taking these steps because it believes diversity and innovation are inseparable. OpenText has also produced a video called Our Voice which emphasizes the importance of listening to and incorporating everyone’s perspective:
