Clearly wanting to not sink to the level of unerliablity that Microsoft products have avoid another PR crisis, Apple has announced that a fix is coming this September for that security issue that I reported about yesterday:
“The minor iPhone security issue which surfaced this week is fixed in a software update which will be released in September,” Apple representative, Jennifer Bowcock, said in an email to Macworld.
Well, that make me sleep better. At least Apple is starting clue in that they have to deal with this stuff on the front end before the media and the bloggers rip them to shreds. Perhaps they are learning from all their other PR disasters?
