Mujjo has just added a new colorway to their line-up for iPhone 11 Pro’s case lineup. The colorway is  Slate Green. It got introduced on Wednesday.

It’s named Slate Green because the desaturated green blends the graphite-like appearance with cooler forest greens and warmer khaki tones arriving at a complex finish.

With winter just around the corner – Mujjo is about to introduce 2 new touchscreen gloves to their line-up.

Over the last 5 years,Mujjo has been designing and crafting luxury leather goods from premium quality materials. And their mission has never changed: to provide the best solution for carrying daily essentials using the simplest possible design. 

To mark this occasion, they’ve collaborated with celebrated industrial designer Athanassios Babalis. As co-founder of Shibui.ch, he has – among other achievements – designed the highly impressive Votrys, for which he won The Dieline’s 2015 CWWWR Awards. After starting his professional career in London, and moving to New York to continue working for companies such as Dakota Jackson Inc, Athanassios now runs a design studio in Thessaloniki, Greece.

Mujjo’s limited edition Wooden Case is made by hand in Greece. They used reclaimed American Walnut veneer, taken from the furniture industry. Through a careful hand selection process, layers are stacked and placed in a handmade mould. This goes into a press, where the case comes to life when the layers of veneer are pressed together to form its iconic silhouette. From here, the case goes on to CNC, a computerized mill which cuts each case to precise measurements, revealing its simple and instantly recognizable final shape.

The case then goes through several stages of sanding – all performed by hand – to ensure a smooth finish. We apply a small amount of gunstock (tung) oil to the veneer for a final coating which gives its final, satin-gloss-like finish.

The case is enclosed with a stainless steel door panel which is secured with a thumbscrew. A simple, yet effective design that is largely responsible for the signature look of the case. Hand-crafted by an experienced metal worker, the door panel goes through several stages from raw metal to a highly polished glossy finish.
