It is just one of those kinds of days. Life is throwing you in all different directions. No matter how efficiently you may think you are juggling the daily responsibilities in life, it is always inevitable that at some point an item to be out of place. It just happens. People forget where they put their keys, they leave a backpack behind at the coffee shop, or learn that their pet has wandered away from home. That is where the Pebblebee Stone comes in.
The Stone is an advanced Bluetooth tracker that’ll come to the rescue when such scenarios should arise. What’s more, the device not only tags things to be found later, but helps simplify everyday tasks. The Stone also acts as a shortcut button, and can be configured to send a short text or turn on music when paired with Bluetooth speakers.
So imagine a smart remote for your phone and smart devices. A device that controls any app on your smartphone and helps finds lost items. That means, you can simplify your life with one button for it all: take a selfie, upload it to Facebook, share your location, turn your lights off from bed, and much more. What is even more cool is that being a small tracker, you can tag onto items like your keys, phone, etc. But the Stone allows you to create shortcuts for things that you’d typically have to open your phone to do, whether it is making a phone call, starting up your music, or opening an app.
Through the use of IFTTT recipes, Stone will be able to control all sorts of things in your life that would otherwise be a job for your smartphone. This includes adjusting the lights in your home, playing music, ordering a pizza, finding your phone, keys, or even your pets. The Shortcut button works by using IFTTT logic: If This Then That. You don’t have to be an engineer to use this, it’s actually rather simple. IFTTT simply states that if circumstances are this, then the action desired will be that. For example, if you are in your driveway leaving the house, pressing the button could lock your house doors, or turn on/off with all your outdoor lights. If you are in your bed, the button will turn off your bedroom lights for you. You can create these simple recipes online using IFTTT’s platform. The Pebblebee Stone channel is currently in development and will be available before the Stone is shipped.

Pebblebee Stone is now on Kickstarter. For $20 you can receive a Stones that comes in black, white, or grey. With an estimated delivery of November 2015, the PebbleBee Stone can help you simplify your life just before the holiday stress arises.
