The Greater Toronto Airports Authority (GTAA) has just announced a seven-year strategic IT and business transformation partnership with Wipro Limited, a leading global Information Technology, Consulting and Business Process Services company that provides technology services to some of the world’s largest airports.
Wipro will run and manage Toronto Pearson’s entire IT portfolio, while transforming application development and domain-specific processes, consolidate GTAA’s IT partners to drive improved efficiencies and provide enhanced passenger experience and new revenue channels.
This partnership will transform airport operations, run an integrated service delivery using airport best practices, create opportunities for joint innovation by adopting emerging technologies, and will position Toronto Pearson to evolve into the world’s leading digital airport.
The GTAA and Wipro teams are working collaboratively to ensure a seamless implementation of the new contract in the upcoming months.
