Cyware, leaders in threat intelligence management, security collaboration, and orchestrated response, has appointed Stephan Tallent as the new Head of Managed Security Service Providers (MSSP) Program. 

He has a proven track record of propelling organizations towards revenue growth and market leadership, demonstrated through his pivotal roles at Stellar Cyber, Cybereason, Fortinet, and in the telecommunications industry over the last two decades.

This strategic hire will fuel Cyware’s channel-first strategy and enable rapid market adoption of the organization’s modern approach to Cyber Fusion.

Stephen’s expertise lies in creating and launching innovative services, optimizing sales operations, and leading new partner recruitment. These efforts have consistently resulted in improved business outcomes and operational effectiveness in security service delivery for his previous employers and their partners.

At Cyware, Stephan’s role will be crucial in shaping the future of MSSP engagements. His focus will be on the development of valuable service offerings and the deployment of best-in-class solutions that address the current and emerging needs of MSSPs. 

He joins Alex Bender, who was recently appointed as CMO. With 22 years of cybersecurity marketing experience, Alex joined after serving as the CMO of Invicti Security. Prior to Invicti, Alex served as the SVP of Global Marketing at Mimecast, contributing to its growth as the leading cloud email security provider and managing a team of 100+ marketing professionals globally. Alex has also held cybersecurity marketing leadership roles at RSA Security, Archer Technologies, McAfee, and Tripwire.

Cyware is pleased to announce the addition of Australia’s former Prime Minister the Hon Malcolm Turnbull AC, to its advisory board. Cyware is pleased to announce the addition of renowned cybersecurity expert, Rick Howard, to its advisory board. Mr. Howard brings with him a wealth of experience and expertise that will play a pivotal role in guiding the company’s strategic initiatives and technological advancements.

Rick Howard is a former CSO of Palo Alto Networks, where he founded Unit 42, Palo Alto’s threat intelligence and security consulting team; currently he is the CSO, fellow, and podcaster for The CyberWire. He also helped establish the Cyber Threat Alliance (CTA), an information sharing and analysis organization. Mr. Howard has written the book on cybersecurity strategy and is widely recognized for his meaningful industry contributions in the public and private sectors. With Cyware’s commitment to cyber fusion, threat intelligence operationalization, and collective defense, Mr. Howard’s expertise and experience will be invaluable in his advisory role.

The Cyware Partner Advisory Marketplace provides a platform for security vendors to make intelligence feeds easily available to Cyware’s extensive network of direct customers, and members of ISACs, ISAOs, and other intelligence sharing communities. ZeroFox’s comprehensive threat intelligence feeds are already well integrated into the Cyware Intel Exchange (CTIX) and Orchestrate modules, enabling the full range of Cyware’s Cyber Fusion capabilities, including threat aggregation, prioritization, enrichment, sharing, orchestration, and intelligence-based actions. ZeroFox enhances these models by leveraging global intelligence collection and analysis across a broad set of data sources, continuously monitoring the surface, deep, and dark web to detect external cyber threats.

Cyware, the leading provider of AI-powered Cyber Fusion platforms for enterprises and MSSPs, and automated threat intelligence sharing for information sharing networks, today announced a $30 million Series C financing round led by Ten Eleven Ventures, a leading multi-stage investment firm specializing in cybersecurity. Also participating are previous investors including Advent International, Zscaler, Emerald Development Managers, Prelude (the venture practice at Mercato Partners) and Great Road Holdings.

The Series C financing comes as Cyware has experienced strong year-over-year growth propelled by robust market adoption, excellent customer retention, and extraordinarily large market access. Since Series A financing, Cyware has shown growth of 6x and consolidated its position as an industry leader for threat intelligence automation, security orchestration, and collaborative threat response solutions.
