AirDroid has released a major new update for its desktop clients with a focus on making frequent operations faster. The Windows version update features a new desktop widget that makes sending files, and accessing SMS, call logs & app notifications much faster. It also brings a new feature that allows you to send files to mobile device with the right-click menu. The Mac client update brings search and native emojis support in SMS.

Desktop widget (Windows client): With the new desktop widget, you can access the most popular features without opening the main AirDroid window. Missed calls, unread text messages and app notifications can all be accessed with one click. Click on the circle, a mini panel will appear, and then you can send files to a mobile device by dragging and dropping files to it.

Send files from right-click menu (Windows Client): Sending files to a mobile device is much faster now. Right click on a file, choose “Send via AirDroid”, and the file will be sent to the chosen mobile device.
